1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern any order placed on lepetitchr.fr (and its international variants) with the company trading as Le Petit CHR — SIRET 928 601 657 00010, VAT FR00 928 601 657, activity: wholesale trade (business-to-business).
Placing an order implies full acceptance of these T&Cs. The customer is invited to read them carefully before validating their order.
2. Products
The products offered are described and presented as accurately as possible. Technical specifications (dimensions, power, capacity, etc.) are taken from the manufacturers' datasheets (Hendi, Combisteel, AFI Collin Lucy, Sofraca, etc.).
Le Petit CHR reserves the right to modify the product range based on supplier constraints and cannot be held liable for any unavailability.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, both excluding VAT (HT) and including VAT (TTC) on every product page. The applicable VAT rate is 20% for mainland France.
Any shipping fees, where applicable, are shown at checkout, before payment is validated.
4. Order & payment
The order is validated once the customer has (1) accepted these T&Cs, (2) confirmed their cart and (3) completed payment.
Accepted payment methods are: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, CB), PayPal (one-off payment or 4 instalments interest-free via Pay in 4), Klarna (3 or 4 instalments interest-free, subject to eligibility), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. Payment is securely processed by Stripe and PayPal — your card details never transit through our servers.
5. Delivery
Le Petit CHR operates on a direct-from-manufacturer shipping model: orders are dispatched directly from the warehouses of our partner brands. Lead times are communicated for information only after the order is validated and depend on the carrier and product availability.
Transport is handled by third-party companies. Announced lead times are not guaranteed by Le Petit CHR and may be affected by constraints beyond our control (weather, strikes, carrier holidays, etc.).
6. Inspection on delivery — IMPORTANT
To be eligible for a free-of-charge return, the goods must be inspected by the buyer at the time of delivery in the presence of the carrier, with precise reserves written on the delivery note (or the parcel refused) if the packaging is damaged or the product is broken.
This requirement does not depend on us but on the transport companies. Without written reserves at the time of receipt, no claim for transport-related damage can be processed by the carrier, and therefore not by Le Petit CHR either.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code (private customers), the customer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal possible before receipt of the goods: the customer may cancel their order as long as it has not yet been dispatched or received. In that case, a full refund is issued within 14 days via the original payment method.
For professional customers (pro / B2B), the right of withdrawal does not apply under article L.221-3 of the French Consumer Code, unless a specific agreement has been reached on a case-by-case basis.
8. Warranty
All our products are brand new and covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, depending on the brand and the type of equipment.
1-year warranty applies only to spare parts sold separately. For complete equipment, the manufacturer's warranty prevails (generally 1 to 2 years).
The precise warranty terms are listed on the product page or on the quote provided. To activate the warranty, contact our after-sales team via the contact form, providing the order reference and attaching photos of the defect.
9. Returns for defects
Any defective product reported after the delivery note has been validated without reserves will be handled under the manufacturer's warranty (repair, exchange or refund according to the manufacturer's terms and the nature of the defect).
10. Accepted payment methods
Le Petit CHR only accepts interest-free payments: one-off payment, Pay in 3 and Pay in 4 interest-free. Any instalment payment with interest (notably some long-term variants of Klarna Financing or PayPal Credit) will trigger an automatic refund to the customer within seconds and the order will be cancelled.
11. Liability
Le Petit CHR cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in case of stock shortage or product unavailability, force majeure, full or partial disruption or strike, particularly of postal services, transport and/or communications.
12. Personal data
Data collected when an order is placed is used exclusively for the processing and follow-up of that order. See our Privacy Policy for full details of the processing carried out.
13. Governing law & disputes
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
In accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumer customers may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator after attempting to resolve the dispute directly with Le Petit CHR.
